Dan Steinberg is the vanguard of the Burgundy Revolution, he captured this image from the parking lot today, Dan only described the situation and did not provide the appropriate context so allow me, an upside down flag means one or both of only two things:
1. The international sign of distress, in other words HELP;
2. Calling in a bomb strike on your own location, it means your position has been overrun.
In football terms both are appropriate right now in Washington.
